Reflection of my Visit
To be honest, when we first got assigned this project I wanted to do something better than going to a store and taking pictures with clothing, like going to a game, but we couldn't find tickets! So instead, my friend Crystal, and her little sister Courtney, came to the mall with me to Macy's, a big department store, to take pictures with their attire and accessories dealing with the Steelers.
When we first arrived at Macy's, we went straight for the Steelers section. We then remembered that sometimes stores get angry when you take pictures of their merchandise, so we asked the employee working the register if they would mind. At first, the employee said she wasn't sure and asked what it was for, and I told her a school project, pulled out my rubric, and explained the theme of my website to her. Her name was Dominique, and she thought the project was actually a good idea and that she didn't have a problem with it.. I knew that I needed three quotes, so I decided to quote Dominique for my first one.
As we ventured back to the Steelers clothing section, we ran into a man looking to buy a Troy Polamalu jerseys for his kids. His name was Mike Forester, and he followed us back to the clothing section. For my second quote, I decided to quote Mike by asking him who his favorite player from the Steelers was. He replied by saying Troy Polamalu, and when he found the jerseys for his kids, he handed them to us to hold up for our picture and Courtney took it.
We then found everything we needed. Jackets, hats pants, jerseys, pretty much everything we needed was there. We left the store with a total of eleven pictures, including the picture of the date for evidence. But before leaving, we needed one more quote, so as we were walking to the exit, we stopped a random guy and asked him who his favorite football team was. He was from Cleveland, so he said the Browns were his favorite team. We joked with him and told him that the Steelers are the best, and he said that they were his second favorite.
That was my experience!
