Final Score: 10-17 Winner: Houston Texans Description and Results This game resulted in a loss for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger was sacked 5 times throughout the entire game. In the first half, Owen Daniels of the Texans scored a touchdown, and extra point, and a field goal. The score was 0-10 at halftime. After halftime, the Steelers pulled through and Rashard Mendenhall scored a 3-yard touchdown, with Shaun Suisham kicking an extra point. In the beginning of the 4th quarter, Shaun Suisham kicked a 26 yard field goal for 3 points, making the score a tie, 10-10. Right after the Steelers kicked their field goal, the Texans made a 42-yard touchdown, alone with an extra point, making the score 17-10. That was the last touchdown of the game, and the Texans won. Play and Player of the Game This wasn't the Steelers best game but since Rashard Mendenhall scored the only touchdown of this game, he was the player of this game. Injuries Andre Johnson of the Texans left with a hamstring injury. Rashard Mendenhall injured his right hamstring, linebacker James Harrison injured his right eye, and defensive end Aaron Smith sprained his ankle. Ben Roethlisberger played the entire game but after he was wearing a boot on his foot as if he had some type of ankle/foot injury. |
