Rashard Mendenhall scored the first touchdown in the first quarter, followed by Isaac Redman's 20 yard touchdown during the second. During the third quarter, Mike Wallace scored another touchdown, with Shaun Suisham kicking the extra point once again, making the final score 24-0. No touchdowns or field goals were scored throughout the fourth quarter. Play and Player of the Game In my opinion, I think that Rashard Mendenhall was the player of the game. While I was watching this game, I constantly heard his name said by the reporters stating a new play that he made. He also scored the first touchdown. Shaun Suisham, however, had a really good game too. He never missed a field goal the entire game, and in total contributed to 6 of the 24 points scored during the game. Injuries During the second quarter, Steeler's quarterback Ben Roethlisberger injured his right knee when he was tackled by Seattle's Raheem Brock, the defensive end. Brock was charged $15,000 just for injury Roethlisberger for just a couple plays. Roethlisberger returned to the game three plays after his injury. |
